No prior precast knowledge is needed to start learning. Come with questions and an interest in the built environment. Check individual event announcements for any activity-specific requirements.
Precast concrete components are cast before being placed in their final position. Prestressing introduces compression to help concrete resist tensile stresses under load. Both are used in structures such as bridges, buildings, and parking facilities.
